In a balance sheet, there are negative points but certainly also positive points. Man must therefore count the blessings of God and give him glory.

2024 is shaping up to be an economically difficult year. The crisis is far from over, on the contrary. But each beginning of the year is an opportunity to remember that the Lord is a savior and provider God.

“Put your trust in him, and he will act[9]”, he will not disappoint you. Since the world existed, God has taken care of his children. It won’t stop in 2024. You may not live in luxury but you will have what you need.

God will be present to lead his children and his church in 2024. Certainly, we no longer have the tent of meeting (the Tabernacle) to symbolize the presence and leadership of the Lord, but we have this magnificent promise that Jesus left in John 14:18 “I will not leave you orphans, but will come to you.” Since His promises are certain, let us believe that the Master will direct our lives and His church.

We saw above, that during the first month of the biblical year, the people had to celebrate the feast of first fruits. A celebration to thank God in anticipation of the harvest he will give. The harvest which was to be shared among all. Let us read Leviticus 19:9-10 carefully to realize: “When you reap the harvest in your land, you will leave a corner of your field unharvested, and you will not gather what remains to be gleaned. Neither shall you pluck the clusters that remain in your vineyard, nor gather up the grain that has fallen from it. You will leave this to the poor and the stranger. I am the LORD your God. »
